Young newcomers to the first team
FC Sheriff has signed its first two new players of the summer transfer window. Midfielder Ion Ciobanu and forward Vlad Lupaschko have joined the club.
Ion Ciobanu, a product of the Sheriff FC Academy, is 20 years old. He learned the basics of soccer at the club’s academy. He spent the last five years in Germany, where he played for the U-17 and U-19 teams of FC Nuremberg and Union Berlin.
Vlad Lupașco is 21 years old. He is a product of FC Dacia Buiucani, where he progressed from youth football to the club’s first team. Last season, Vlad played in 27 matches for his team, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the Moldovan Super League.
