Malian midfielder Samba Koné has joined FC Sheriff today.

Samba was born in March 2002 and began learning the basics of soccer at Derby Academica in Mali. Six years ago, his European journey began with Spanish club Leganés FC. He then spent three years with the reserve team of Portugal’s FC Porto. For the past three years, he has played for Academica de Viseu in Portugal’s second division.

Last season, he played in 21 matches across all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist.
