Spanish midfielder Juan Carlos Pineda Torres is the newest addition to FC Sheriff. The player, who also holds citizenship of the Dominican Republic, has signed a contract with the club.

Juan was born on January 12, 2000, in Asúa de Compostela. He began his career in the youth teams of the Spanish club Getafe. He spent the last two years in the Bulgarian Championship, where he played for FC Beroe Stara Zagora. In 36 matches last season, he scored one goal and recorded seven assists.

He has played 18 matches for the Dominican Republic national team and recorded one assist.
