David Mudjiri is a person who scored the first goal for FC Sheriff in European Cups. It was the goal to FC Sigma from Czech Republic in terms of the UEFA Cup in 1999. Georgian football player being FC Sheriff player became the champion of Moldova, owner of the Cup of the country, the best striker in the championship 2000/2001.

In two years David made people from Tiraspol fall in love with him. Local supporters remember him as a player making a very firm shot.

After leaving the team in 2001, David was transferred to Austrian Sturm, then to PFC Krylia Sovetov in Samara and FC Lokomotiv in Moscow. Mudjiri played 26 matches for the national team of Georgia.

Today David Mudjiri is a sports director in Georgian Samtredia.

We had a unique chance to talk to David who was also at the training camps with his club. Of course, we did not want to lose this chance.
