Badibanga's precise shots
The second victory in Turkey against the Hungary Championship third team was more than just a confident win. The score doesn’t reflect all advantages Roberto Bordin’s squad had during the 90 minute encounter.
First 7-8 minutes were spent to swing into action. The Hungarians managed one shot easily saved by Zvonimir Mikulic. Then the Yellow-Blacks took the lead with soon results: Ziguy Badibanga bagged a first half brace. In the 23rd minute, he fired a long shot and ten minutes later turned home from a side pass.
In the second half, following the tradition of Belek training camp, coaching staff made lots of substitutions. But that didn’t let the opponents to grab a consolation goal. Sheriff scored for the third time with the help of Vitalie Damascan which ,however, was cancelled because Sirima was in the offside position.
Tomorrow the team comes back home. After a short break, they will get back to their training. On 23 February FC Sheriff returns to Belek.
