National Youth Team of Moldova U-21 started with a victory the qualifying round for the European Championship 2025. Stefan Stoika's trainees defeated the national team of Gibraltar with a score of 3:1.

Nichita Coval started the match from the opening minutes and played the entire match. Roman Dumenco and Vlad Kolish remained on the bench.

In the group with Moldova and Gibraltar, Sweden, the Netherlands, Georgia, and North Macedonia are also playing. The next match for the Moldovan youth team is scheduled for September 8 away against the Netherlands.
